P.S. Day of Freedom, Part 2

Shortly after posting the other blog entry tonight, Harris came home and told me that the nurse called him today to tell him that the pathology report came back negative for any precancerous (Barrett's) tissue in his esophageal area!!! What a HUGE relief! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

A year ago my first blog was created as a result of our daughter Haley's trip to Africa. It was a tremendous way for us to easily keep everyone informed of what was going on . . . to give me a creative outlet to process my thoughts . . . and to give God the glory for what He was doing in our lives.

The last entry I made there, "Replacing the African Daisy," indicated that we were moving on to a new chapter of our lives. I wondered if and when I'd ever post another blog entry, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that it would be necessary for me to start a new blog so soon. Our son Heath was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, so for those very same reasons, this blog has been created. It will serve as a place where I can pour out what's in my heart as the Holy Spirit prompts me to do so.

We trust that as you read it, you will rejoice with us and pray with us, depending on the situation. Let us know how we can do the same for you! Your prayers, encouragement, and feedback mean the world to us, so please leave your comments here or send us a quick email. You are loved!

Have You Given Your Life to God?
